Phase

I know it's a phase.
I know it'll go away.
I know it takes time.
I know.
I understand sense.
I understand logic.
I just don't understand hurt for while it is a phase.
I don't understand pain, for while it goes away.
I don't understand grief, for while it takes time.
I don't understand life, for while it feels like death.
